mapping subdomain

  Hello,
  I fear I made a bit of a mess yesterday when trying to map my domain to the word press blog.
  I mapped yesterday my domain to my wordpresseblog, when realising this was a mistake. So I deleted the wordpress domain and the cms installation on the server. Then I installed the cms (sql server) again with my hosting company on the subdomain and finally I made a new wordpress domain and tried to map it to the wordpress blog. It seems not to work because the wordpressblog site differs to the site shown on my subdomain.
  The reason why I wanted to change it, was that I need the subdomain for a blog for my studies and I want to keep the main domain for a website for myself. Could you help me further.

  If you’re referring to https://2019russia.wordpress.com/ though we can help with that. Can you clarify?

  Yes I am referring to https://2019russia.wordpress.com/ from the subdomaine
  russia2019.richener.eu.
  I would like the same as I had a school blog a half year ago, where we were referring our domain https://roadhackers.be/ to the wordpress blog.

  OK, to clarify do you need http://russia2019.richener.eu/ to bring up https://2019russia.wordpress.com/ ?

  If not, please clarify.

  If that is what you want, you could ask your DNS host to fix the redirect. This could give you SEO issues, though, so here’s what I recommend instead:

  – Get a plan: https://wordpress.com/plans
  – When prompted for a domain, choose russia2019.richener.eu and choose the option that says you own the domain
  – Ask your DNS host to add the following:

  CNAME pointing russia2019.richener.eu to 2019russia.wordpress.com

  Once they’ve done that (or if you’ve added that setting on your end yourself) wait 4-6 hours for the web to catch up with the changes. Then it should work.
