  The markdown help page shows how to turn on Markdown support, but it doesn’t say how to use it, e.g. in the post editor.

  Should I enter markdown syntax in the visual editor? In the Text/HTML editor? How do I render it?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  Markdown should be used in the Visual view of the editor.

  Certain types of markdown will be applied immediately in the editor as you add it, like bold, italic and lists. Other types of markdown will only render once you publish the post, but you should be able to check how it would look by previewing the post.
