  I am getting an http error message when trying to upload media

  Hi @205thentry,

  Sometimes this is an issue that appears when you’re experimenting a connection issues somewhere between your computer and the WordPress.com servers.
  Another reason may be connected with the size of the media, since the bigger is the size, the more chances to run into this kind of error.

  My suggestions are to try and resize the media if you can (ie in case it’s an image) and try clearing your browser’s temporary internet files.

  Here are also some troubleshooting image upload to check out.

  If the problem persists, tag this thread for Staff attention by typing the modlook tag.
