Media Library and Private posts receiving views.
-
Hi, I was wondering two things.
Why would it show that I have had visitors on a “private” blog? I would think that nobody but myself should be seeing those marked Private.
Second question is about photos. If I delete them from the Media library do they get removed from a blog post?
In the old days you didnt have a “library” . You only had what you put in a post. The reason I ask this is because it is taking a large amount of space. I want to leave the pictures in my blog, but dont see a reason that a second picture needs to be in the “media Library”.
Hopefully those aren’t to lame of questions..
Thanks for your helpThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

1.) The site owner’s visits and anyone else they’ve invited to view the site are counted in the stats.
2.) Deleting an image from the Media Library means they will be removed from the associated post. It’s not a “second picture” but the image you uploaded. If you have been routinely optimizing your images prior to uploading them, you should still have plenty of storage left from the 3GB that WordPress.com gives each site.
note: I don’t know about “the old days” you mention. I’ve been on WordPress.com since 2007 and to the best of my knowledge we have never had photos only in a post that weren’t also in the Media Library.
