Media Library getting full

    Hi my media library is showing as nearly 90% used which has surprised me when I have uploaded only 350 or so images. Previous blogs of mine with similar numbers of images have only used about 40%. I have looked at my images and none are particularly large. Does anyone have any ideas why my 3GB may be being used so fast?

    I’ve just looked at my site. I have 2439 images and have used 14% of my possible 3GB. Are you using any .pngs? They always seem to create large file sizes compared to jpgs for no gain when displayed on a website. If you don’t want to upgrade to the Personal plan to get access to another 3GB of storage you’ll need to be careful to optimize images before uploading them.
