Media library image processing

In my media library suddenly all of images are only available in 9×12 format! It’s crazy since I couldn’t obviously edit none of them! What happended?

I’m not sure I understand what you mean by the images being available in 9×12 format. Can you provide a link to one of the images where you are having this issue?

Here it is.
As you may see, while the original image is 4000×3000, the image is shown in a very tiny format and – lots worse – it’s only available in that format!
The same media library was perfect while writing other pages/articles and if I access the media library from its own menu item, it shows perfectly.

Thanks for sending that screenshot! This is actually happening because of a setting in your custom CSS. You can go to Appearance > Customize in your dashboard and then click on CSS to get to the custom CSS settings.
Under Content Width (below the CSS editor box) there is a setting that says, “Set a different content width for videos, full size images, and other shortcodes if necessary.” Currently, it is set to 12px, which is what is shrinking your photos. You can remove or increase that number to resolve the issue.
