Media library keeps showing error message when trying to upload new photos

    Hello,

    I am attempting to upload new photos to my site’s media library to be added to a new blog post. I keep seeing the same error when it fails – it reads: ‘Post-processing of the image failed likely because the server is busy or does not have enough resources. Uploading a smaller image may help. Suggested maximum size is 2500 pixels.’
    I have ensured that the photos I am trying to upload are well within 2500 pixels. The only way I have been able to upload new photos is by deleting some other photos in the Media Library permanently, which is not an option as it removes the photos from my older blog posts. Can you assist me with this issue?

    What is the URL of the site with the problem?

    I think I may fall into the “hosted elsewhere” category (Bluehost). I apologize if I’m in the wrong spot, I was thinking this was the community forum but I may have found myself in the wrong location!

    Ah yes, your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with Bluehost.

    Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
