Media Library Not Loading After Site Name Change

  Changed my site name on wordpress and all the images that were on my blog could not be found. My entire media library cannot load and is extremely frustrating. Is there a fix for this without using php? Any way this will be fixed on its own?

  Hi there,

  Are you referring to calculatoroperator.wordpress.com?

  I visited the media library and can see the images just fine. Have you tried viewing the library using a different browser?

  However, it does not sound like you are talking about a site that is on WordPress.com. Let me know if that is the case.

  Hey there,

  thanks for helping me look into the problem. Apparently the transfer from one url to another takes hours. It took my site close to 3 hours for the media library and pictures to work again. This being my first time to change urls, I freaked out when the pictures weren’t loading and thought that I broke my blog.

  The fix for this was just to stay calm, be patient and let wordpress work its magic.
