All research has pointed me to Media Settings to turn OFF metadata for pics – but no such option exists in my media setting. Is it possible that the theme I am using (Cheery free) limits that option? At the end of the day, I just want to STOP displaying camera, aperture, f stop, etc. under the pics in my gallery. Please help!!!

What theme you are using won’t have a bearing on the issue. I know that Metadata can be removed from Carousel/Gallery images here at WordPress.com via the wp-admin dashboard Media library but am unsure if things work the same for the WordPress.org software. It doesn’t sound like your site is hosted here if it is using the Cheery theme. If your site is indeed hosted elsewhere and using the WordPress.org software it’s best to register an account and ask at
