media uploader malfunction

  the uploader for my media doesn’t work. i have a mac, fresh format. safari works very good and i tried even with firefox but i can’t upload photos anymore. i have still more than 2,5 GB of space. I can open the window but when i choose the file to upload nothing happen. I try with simply uploader. nothing. i try with very small file. nothing. can you help me? thank you
