Media Usage

  Hi

  I’m sure you get this a lot, but I’ve gone through my allocated memory allowance a lot quicker than i was expecting. I’ve figured out the issue – I’ve been uploading images which are FAR too big for their purpose so i’ve corrected that for future posts, but I’m trying to find out if there’s a way to correct this for current posts without going through hundreds of images one by one and replacing them with lower resolution ones.

  If it were possible to get an export of the media i can use picasa to reduce the size and have files with the same names and a fraction of the sizes ready for upload in a flash, but to make something like this happen it’d be useful to have FTP access to my media. Alternatively if i can get an export of the files i can get the equivalent lower res versions sent back and they could be overwritten?

  I’m hoping there’s a solution to this which is simpler than the mind bending pain of going through all the images manually….
