    hi when i search my blog posts instead of links to the various posts, i get entirety of every post that i have made. This means if I want to find a specific post I have to scroll down alot which is inconvenient, is there a way to compress it so that there is just a link to the various blog post?
    also I would like to add a search bar to my blog so that I can search for various posts by name, how would I do that?

    The basic search functionality built in to WordPress.com cannot be edited or adjusted in this case, but if you wish to have a more powerful search built in to your site you may wish to consider adding Jetpack Search instead: https://wordpress.com/support/jetpack-search/
