menu buttons disappearing

the navigation menu at the top of my screen i have in buttons as ‘home’ contact’ ‘gallery’ ‘about’ they are all separate buttons with their separate links to the respective pages, i have checked it so many times. When i am in the edit view, i see them all, but when i preview it or see it live, ‘gallery’ and ‘about’ buttons disappear. I have no idea what to do and i tried to see if it was an appearance thing but i genuinely do not know whats happening.

I visited your site and I see that you are using the “Jones” theme. More info about that theme here: https://wordpress.com/theme/jones/
One thing I wanted to point out about this theme is that it was specifically designed for “single page sites” so it does not have a standard site menu. From the theme description:
Jones is a minimalist theme, designed for single-page websites. Its single post and page layouts have no header, navigation menus, or widgets
Because of this, adding a menu for a multi-page site is a bit tricky. I see that on your homepage you have added the navigation block, which does add a menu to your homepage, but it does not show on your other pages unless you add the same block to those too.
This can be a lot of work given how many pages you have now, but the good news is that this theme does include an option to convert the site to one with a standard site-wide header and navigation. You can find that option here under the “content options” tab: https://wordpress.com/customize/
After you click on “Content Options” look for the “Enable site header and top menu” option and turn it on. Once you do that you will see a new menu that appears on all pages of your site, and you can edit your homepage to remove the second menu (the block) that you added there.
