Menu Issue with Auto Menu from Pages Plugin

    Morning folks, I am kinda new back to WordPress and quite a lot seems to have changed since I have been back

    The other day I downloaded a plugin called Auto Pages from WordPress and then subsequently deleted it as it created a bit of a mess but now there seems to be a problem, it has appeared to leave behind some files as whenever I go into the menu section under appearance it still gives me the option to create a very top menu with auto pages, I have triple checked my installed plugins and I have definitely deleted it, I’ve gone into installed plugins and it has gone, I’ve searched the “add new” and it pops up first in the available plugins to install.

    Also, whenever I am in the process of trying to setup my menu in the footer whatever I do it keeps giving me the menu in the footer and I do not want it in the footer.

    Any help or advice would be gratefully accepted

    Sorry, I meant whenever I try setup my menu in the header it goes in the footer, no matter what I do.

    Your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) and is hosted by Hostinger.

    Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are different, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on WordPress.com.

    You can reach out to your host for help with your site. Since they’re hosting your site’s files, they also have access to those files and could also be able to help you here.
