    My menu titles are suddenly being called invalid

    Looks like you might be working on https://lauramarriottwriting.wordpress.com/. Is that right?

    Reducing the size of that site menu is going to drastically improve your site’s overall performance (speed, seo, etc…). Menus are really designed to only help users navigate to a few areas of the site.

    Instead of having all of these posts linked in the menu you can batch them in to categorized groups and list those categories in the menu. Or you could just assign the publication page to the site menu – when someone clicks on that page from the menu all of your posts would be listed.

    The menu is working for me but I can see how it could easily appear broken based on the size of it.
