Merge Two Posts/Pages

    I want content currently on separate posts/pages to be on one page/one post under the same site. How do I execute this task?

    WP.com: Yes

    Unfortunately, we cannot assist because your site is not hosted on WordPress.com. It’s a self-hosted WordPress.org site hosted by a different hosting company. 

    We do not have access to self-hosted sites, so I cannot see the setup of the backend of your account.

    Generally speaking, there are no built-in methods in WordPress to merge two posts or pages. You would want to copy the content from one of them and paste it manually on the page/post that you want to keep. We could look at the specific posts/pages to help you further, but we can’t since your site isn’t on WordPress.com.

    • WordPress.com is a managed host platform that offers WordPress in a pre-customized server environment already set up for you to build your site. Hosting with WordPress.com is free, and the server, security, updates, and site optimization are all handled by us.     Thanks for the thorough explanation. I was afraid that would’ve been my only option. If I copy and paste the post/pages for example (post page 2 onto page 1) then am I able to say give scrolling link variations? For example (post/page 1 is Genesis Ch1, post/page 2 is Genesis Ch2). If when users are scrolling to reach respective Ch the link in the address bar will vary.
