Merging a current website store to wordpress

  Can I merge my online store from Godaddy to WordPress without having to start from scratch? From there then I’d like to make modifications etc. Thanks!

  What software or service was used to build the store on the GoDaddy-hosted site?

  Yes, their website builder.

  First, create a new WordPress.com site at https://wordpress.com/start/site/

  Once you have a site you can import the content from your GoDaddy site using our GoDaddy importer at My Site ->Tools ->Import.

  The importer only supports posts and pages, though. If you have products set up as well, those won’t be imported, and you’ll have to recreate them on your WordPress.com site manually.

  Also note that the Product content type is no available on WordPress by default, but is added by an ecommerce plugin like WooCommerce. Using a plugin like that on WordPress.com requires our Business Plan.
