Merging or deleting accounts.

    Hi for some reason my account has opened as an extra account. essentially i have two. either i set it up wrong or some other thing happened. i have my main account that i set up years ago under this email address but now this email addresss is tied to another account. this one is (email visible only to moderators and staff) and the other one is (email visible only to moderators and staff) can i delete this account or merge it with the other one. so i can use the one email address as (email visible only to moderators and staff) will be going very soon. thank you.

    Hi there,

    The account you’re using to post here, millersadventure180917 was created a year ago and is associated with the Gmail address you’ll see if you go to Account Settings: https://wordpress.com/me/account/

    This account owns no sites, and has not been active at all in the year since you created it.

    The other email address you’re mentioning above is not associated with any account on WordPress.com, so I don’t see the second account you’re referring to.

    If you want to you can close the millersadventure180917 account from the account settings page I linked to above, but based on the information you provided here you only have one WordPress.com account, so I’m not sure that will achieve anything.

    Do you have a site? If so, it’s likely a site using the open source WordPress software, in which case the admin account on that site has nothing at all to do with your WordPress.com account, and nothing you do on our end will have any effect on that admin account.

    To make changes to your admin account on a self-hosted WordPress site, please ask for help in the self-hosted WordPress forums instead:
