Message says I do not have a site
-
I signed into my account and I do not have any wordpress sites.
My blog is http://lowcountryguide.com/(I am usually pretty savvy when it comes to this sort of this but I am at a complete loss at the current moment)

Hi Taylor,
Did you try logging in through http://lowcountryguide.com/wp-admin ?
Perhaps this may be a work around.Keep us updated in hopes we can get a step further!
-
No but I just did and that WORKED. Now my next question – does this mean that is the only way I can login?
-
Hmmm. The next question is a little beyond me to tell you the truth.
I added the modlook tag to this post in hopes that maybe a Staff can help you out here.

Hi there,
http://lowcountryguide.com/ is not a WordPress.com site, and has never had anything to do with your WordPress.com account, which doesn’t own any sites and which you only verified around 5 hours ago when you posted this forum thread.
http://lowcountryguide.com/ is using the open source WordPress software found on WordPress.org, and is hosted with https://www.ionos.com/
Support for that version of WordPress is provided here:
https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
The WP-Admin link, or otherwise, http://lowcountryguide.com/wp-login.php, are the only ways to access that site’s admin area, yes. The login details for that site are unique to that site only, and is stored directly in the site’s database.
If you want to be able to manage that site via your WordPress.com login, that’s possible, though. First, log into WP-Admin directly and go to Plugins ->Add New. Search for and install the Jetpack plugin. Then go to Jetpack settings and connect the plugin to your WordPress.com account.
Once you complete that process, you’ll see that site listed in your WordPress.com account, and you’ll be able to manage the site using the WordPress.com interface.
You can also enable Jetpack’s Secure Sign-on feature so you can log into WP-Admin using your WordPress.com account, rather than the unique admin password for that site, which besides convenience adds an extra layer of security as it prevents someone accessing your site by brute-forcing the admin password.
