  Hi, we are a group of Middlesbrough FC programme collectors who have published a couple of books in the past but now feel a website would be the way to proceed. We need a very simple site which would have sections for decades (eg: 1970’s) which would then have sub-sections for individual seasons (eg: 1970-71, 1971-72 etc). Anybody created a similar website who could advise on the best way forward? Cheers, Pete

  You could use categories for each year segment: https://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories/

  Hi Pete –

  The years can be assigned as a category. Then, everything belonging in that category would be linked to it. For example, you can put 1971-1972 in your site menu as a category and everything assigned there would publish.
