Migrate Joomla!/kunena to WordPress

Has anyone successfully taken a Joomla! website that has the kunena forum installed and migrated over to a WordPress website and still maintained the integrity of the whole forum structure including users, posts, categories etc?

It looks like Kunena has a forum plugin for WordPress, but I have no experience with it. To use that plugin here at WordPress.com, you would have to have the WordPress.com Business plan upgrade.
You could also self-host your own installation of the WordPress.org software on a different web host and use the plugin.

Whether you can export the data and users from Joomla and import it into the WordPress forum plugin, I do not know. That would be a question for Kunena.
