  How do I gain FTP access to get the plugins and theme folder.

  I need to migrate domain to new web hosting. Thanks

  Themes adapted to run on WordPress.com software cannot be imported into WordPress.org installs. Text widget content cannot be exported either and must be copied and pasted.

  You hire web host and set up a WordPress.org install. Then you export your content out of the WordPress.com blog and import it into the WordPress.org install.

  WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate sites with different username accounts and logins. We provide support only for free hosted WordPress.com blogs.

  If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
