Migrate subscribers – Jetpack option not appearing

  Hi guys

  I am attempting to move my subscribers (both email and WordPress) from my wordpress.com site to my new self-hosted site. Very basic issue is when I follow your guide here: http://jetpack.me/support/subscription-migration-tool/#howto I am not given the option to select my Jetpack status, even though I have definitely installed the Jetpack plugin on my self hosted site. Did I miss a step of connecting my self-hosted site with my wordpress.com site??

  The original .com page is http://www.austrianadaptation.wordpress.com and the new self hosted one is http://www.austrianadaptation.com (I also redirected the wordpress registered domain name so may be adding extra confusion for myself!)

  Thanks for your help, I’m sure I’m missing something blindingly obvious! Just want to get all my old subscribers pointing to the new site :)

  It sounds like since both of the sites have the same domain there’s some doubling up happening.

  I can transfer your subscribers on our end though. Can you just reply to confirm that you’d like me to go ahead with this?

  Thanks for this, but I’m not so sure it worked – when I check my number of subscribers from the admin panel of my self hosted blog I’m seeing the subscriber count as 1. I’m using Jetpack so seeing the normal ‘WordPress view’ of subscribers in my stats panel.

  Same thing when looking at my ‘Subscribe’ widget that has the option to show subscriber count, only 1 subscriber listed….am I missing the place to check subscribers or are my readers floating somewhere in a purgatory of blog subscribers??

  Oy. I’m so sorry. I’m not sure what happened, I must have gotten distracted half way through working on this. I ended up transferring your stats instead of your subscribers. :(

  I’ve transferred your subscribers now. It make take an hour or so for them all to show up.

  I’m not able to undo the stats transfer, but since this was clearly my fault and not what you requested, I can ask a developer about undoing it if you’d like.
