Migrate this site onto an existing url

    I need to delete my current website hosted on BlueHost and bring the one here onto that URL.

    Jetpack: No

    I’ll be happy to help you with this! To delete a website hosted on Bluehost, you can contact their support team for help. However, have you already migrated all content from your existing website to WordPress.com?

    If not yet, please make sure to do that first. If you’d like to migrate the content only (as opposed to everything, including any plugins and themes that are active on your Bluehost site), you can follow this guide:

    If you want to move content to WordPress.com from another WordPress site (either WordPress.com or a WordPress.org site), use the Import Content option. This option will import a copy of your pages, posts, and media to your new WordPress.com site, but not plugins, the theme, or other design elements.     There’s also the other option to migrate everything as-is from your Bluehost site. This option will be available on the WordPress.com Business plan, as it will migrate existing plugins and themes from your site. If you’d like to try this out, please follow these steps:

    Whichever method you follow, once the migration is completed and you ensured that all content is on your WordPress.com site, the final part is the domain.

    If your domain is registered with Bluehost or any other registrar, you can transfer it to WordPress.com. If you don’t want to transfer the domain registration, you can point it to WordPress.com using Domain Connection.
