Migrate WordPress.com followers to WordPress.org site

  I recently migrated to a self-hosted WordPress.org site but I’d like to bring my WordPress.com followers with me. I’m only able to download email followers, but not those who have followed using WordPress.com. I read there is a way to do it on Jetpack (https://jetpack.com/support/subscription-migration-tool/), but when I follow these instructions the relevant WordPress.com site doesn’t show up as an option.

  Jetpack: Yes
  Correct account: Yes

  Sure! We can help you with this. Just to confirm that we’re working with the right sites, please share the following:

  1. The WordPress.com site address (where followers are coming from)
  2. The WordPress.org site address (where followers are going to. This site must be connected via Jetpack)

  Once we have the above, we can migrate the followers for you.
