  Hi, i am trying to migrate my WordPress to my Godaddy account so that can share the domain name but i am told that my WordPress credentials are correct or to check security plugins.

  Hi there,

  Of what site are you speaking?

  If you’re referring to https://carefreakingfree.wordpress.com/, that site cannot be migrated using the migration tools in GoDaddy’s hosting control panel – those will only work for stand-alone WordPress sites using the open source version of WordPress.

  To migrate a site away from WordPress.com, you must instead export your content at My Site ->Tools ->Export.

  Export your website’s content

  Then, after you’ve installed the open source version of WordPress on your hosting account with GoDaddy, you’ll import that file at WP-Admin ->Tools ->Import on that site.
