Migrating my website – back up copy

  Hi There,
  I need to migrate my website to a new hosting company. I need the back up copy of the website. My new hosting company cannot migrate my site without the ‘All in one’ plugin needed to migrate the site

  You can install plugins on a WordPress.com site by upgrading to the WordPress.com Business plan or higher. Learn more about our plans and pricing here: https://wordpress.com/plans

  If you don’t want to upgrade, you can follow these instructions to migrate your site to another host:

  1. Install WordPress at your new host.
  2. Download an export file from your WordPress.com site. Here’s how: https://wordpress.com/support/export/
  3. Use the export file to import the content into the WordPress.org site on your new host.
  4. Optionally, download the theme you’re using on your current site (Look for the Download button at the bottom of this page: https://wordpress.com/theme/maywood ) and install it on your new WordPress.org site.
  5. Customize the theme on your WordPress.org site to match the look and feel of your WordPress.com site.
