migration of typepad blog to my wordpress account

  the import typepad blog to my wordpress account does not work. I used import tool to import the data file from typepad to my wordpress account. No work. I tried to saved the file as .txt and .xml extensions. Got email with success message but never showed on my post site. I doubt if there is a bug on the import software of wordpress. Please help.

  I am using firefox 16.0.1 and also chrome , using linux ubuntu OS . No working on the import. So I don’t really think that is the brower problem.

  Yes, I tried Firefox 17 , still not work. I don’t think that is a browser issue. I am really upset with that, check online, seem like a common issue with no fully satisfied answer for the problem. Please help if it is possible, so I can stick to wordpress

  Hi there – I see posts on your site going back to 2008, through this month. Are you still missing any posts? Sometimes large imports take a while to complete. Please let us know if you still need help and we’ll investigate further.
