Mis spelled name

I misspelled my last name. It is not humpphrey, in the Domain. It is Humphrey. Can you help me? (email visible only to moderators and staff)
May I ask one more question? I have been trying to find a place where I can speak with a “human”. I would like to have a website set up only for personal blogging daily. Where can I go to get set up for this? Please help if you can. Thank you.

I’m happy to help with this. There isn’t a way for us to just correct the spelling in your domain name. Instead, I removed the misspelled domain from your account so you can register the domain with the correct spelling.
You can add the correct domain to your account in your dashboard, under Store > Domains, at this link:

Under “Add a Domain,” you can enter the correct domain name and then click the “Add domain to blog” button.

Would you like this to be separate from your new blog here at WordPress.com? You can set up another blog on your account if you want a different place for personal blogging. To do this, you can go to My Blogs at this link:

On the left, you can click on “create another blog” to set up another blog for personal blogging.

If I have the primary domain why do I need the one I am trying to correct? (Ignorance on my part – – sorry!) Can the misspelled one simply be deleted and go with the primary one that is showing?

Two questions: How do I ask questions without it being public?
Do you have a website for the area of WordPress that sets up websites? I currently have a website that they set up for CrossBooks last mid November. I do not plan on having it continue for a second year but I would like for them to set me up with a website similar to that one after my domain is no longer current. -

You are certainly welcome to continue using margehumphrey.wordpress.com if you prefer. However, if you would like the custom domain margehumphrey.org you can register that for your site at no additional cost.

To ask questions privately, you can use the WordPress.com contact form on this page: http://wordpress.com/contact/
At the bottom of the contact form, you will see the question, “Private or public question?” To submit a private question, select the option that says, “Private: Only WordPress.com staff will be able to view this question.”
