Missing content from site
-
I am looking to get my old website back up. At least get the content saved. We had put a lot of posts and pages out in 2018/early2019 then we pretty much abandoned the site and stopped paying for wordpress.
I thought that I had made a backup of the site before hand but I cant seem to find it anywhere.
When I log into my site now, it seems that the site is nowhere close to where we left it. Missing tons of blogs, images, and pages. We even had a theme that we had bought that is no longer on the site.
We were paying for the premium wordpress account. Im not sure if I were to pay for the site to be back up if that content would come back.
Is there anything I can do?

Hi there!
Let me clarify – we never remove any content, even if your site is downgraded to the free plan. The only exception is changing from Business to any lower plan. Business sites undergo a series of structural changes to allow you to install plugins and third-party themes. When downgraded, the site is reverted to the state before all those changes took place, which may remove any content added while the site was using plugins.
I have added the Business plan back to your site so you can check what’s the latest backup available:
https://wordpress.com/support/restore/#restoring-from-a-backup.
The plan will expire in a few days unless you renew it.
