Missing ‘like’ ‘reblog’ and ‘follow’ buttons, plus missing categories in blog drafts

    I have several things missing in my browser – I am currently using the latest version of Firefox, but I checked using Chrome and had the same problem.
    When writing blog posts I cannot see some of my categories in the list, so am unable to de-select ‘Uncategorized’ which is driving me mad!
    When visiting other websites, I also am missing the like, reblog and follow buttons so I can only like in WordPress reader, before actually clicking through to read the post. Any ideas?
    (This has been a problem for about the last month – I have cleared my cookies and cache, re-installed Firefox and Chrome and still having the same problem)

    Hi there,

    Is this for http://chrikarublog.wordpress.com/? Are you using the editor at My Site ->Blog Posts, or the one in WP-Admin? Can you name a couple categories that aren’t listed for you?

    Reblog and follow buttons will only appear on WordPress.com sites, not WordPress sites with other hosts, and site owners have the ability to hide Like and Reblog buttons on individual posts. Can you please give links to a few posts where you’re not seeing those options so we can take a look?
