Missing photos
-
Hi WordPress,
Loads of my photos seemingly no longer loading (or taking a long time) on both my public page and within my post editor. I can just see the files names and not the photos.
I am using a chromebook whilst away travelling and have been uploading my photos onto google drive as I go. I have been moving them around a bit on different files and I know wordpress is owned by google, it’s very frustrating that this has now affected many of the photos I have already ‘uploaded’ to wordpress. Is there anything that can be done your end to reverse the changes? Or do I need to edit all the photos back into my posts?
Thank you
Nick B

Hi Nick,
I can just see the files names and not the photos.
I’ve visited your site and I can’t see any posts with missing images. If you tell me which posts you are having problems with, I’ll take a look for you.

WordPress isn’t owned by Google, it’s a separate product :)

If you haven’t deleted the images from your Media Library, a previous revision of the post (containing the images) can be restored using these steps:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/editors/page-post-revisions/
Let me know which posts have missing images and check to see if there are any problems.
