Missing photos

  When I transferred my Journal from Blue Host to WordPress.com all photos transferred fine. I know this because I printed out a hard copy and all photos were there. Some time later there were many photos missing. How can my journal be repaired?

  Hi there, would you mind posting links to two or three examples of posts or pages with missing photos so I can take a look?

  Could you also please provide the corresponding links to those same posts or pages over on your self-hosted Bluehost site? Thanks!

  Thanks for the links. It looks like some of your posts have image paths that are still pointing to your self-hosted site, for example:

  

  I searched for p32701191 in your media library but couldn’t find this image. Do you see it there somewhere?

  If you still had your self-hosted site, we might be able to run a special script to fill in the missing images and update the paths to point to your WordPress.com site, but it sounds like that’s not the case.

  If you can find the missing images in your media library we may be able to help fix the paths. Let me know.

  Hi there – indeed, I can see this image:

  You can change that image path manually in the post by flipping to Text view to get it showing up. Let me know if you need any help with it.

  I did spot-check a bunch of other images, though, and I don’t see them in your media library. For example, the images in this post:

  Soil Block Recipe–Again–And–Again

  is not here:

  It’s possible that not all the images were imported during your original import.
