Missing posts

  My posts from the past few days have suddenly disappeared. They are not in my drafts or in my trash. I know that they were published because it was a password-protected entry and my friend was able to read every entry before today. What happened?

  What happened?

  I’m a volunteer, so I can’t see the website. Did you recently change your front page to display a static page instead of posts, at Settings > Reading, or at Customize > front page?

  Sorry. That was a mistake. The posts are password protected, not the whole site. Obviously you haven’t changed it to a static front page. There is one post dated January 11, and the one before that is dated January 8. Are there some missing between these two?
