Missing Sidebars

I’m using a free plan, along with a free template called Colinear, which is supposed to have sidebars as part of its layout. I am unable to activate the sidebars, and all my menus default to a footer, which I absolutely dislike. I was also having this identical problem with my previous theme, Twenty Sixteen. Why am I unable to have sidebars on my blog?

    Hi,

The site https://louverturestorytellerproject.wordpress.com/ is displaying sidebar widgets on the left and right on my desktop monitor. However, one zoom click in (on Firefox 49.0.1) moves the left sidebar widget to the right sidebar widget area, and two more zoom clicks moves the right sidebar widgets to the bottom. This suggests that on small screens, such as those on tablets and phones, widgets in the left and right sidebar areas will be displayed at the bottom of the page.

I don’t know if this behavior can be modified. You may add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar of this topic if you’d like to call for staff attention.
