MistyLook – footer missing?

  Hi there – I am new at this and have NO IDEA about coding or CSS or anything (but I’m really enjoying using WordPress!). My footer seems to be missing from the front page of my blog – specifically, there is no link at the bottom of the front page to “previous posts”. Older posts do show up when you click through to them from the Archives menu, but I’d like for readers to be able to click on “previous posts” at the bottom of my front page. I’d be really grateful for some guidance/assistance in very simple language as I really don’t understand anything technical about html, coding, CSS etc (yes, embarrassed).   Your theme has infinite scroll – as you page down more and more of your content will be loaded on the front page – not sure if I.S. can be disabled on that theme or not

  Thank you. The infinite scroll seems to stop after 14 posts though – i have published a few more posts than that – so the scroll doesn’t seem so infinite …! Any ideas?

  The reason there is no link is that MistyLook now has infinite scrolling, so if you had 10,000 posts, the front page would keep loading them, 7 at a time till it either killed the visitor’s browser or reached 10,000. (Actually it will likely kill the person’s browser WAY before it would get to 10,000. Probably at 200 or less.)

  I’m sure it is only a temporary glitch. I see clear down to and including “Hello, is it me you’re looking for?”

  WordPress.com will be the one killing the browser, not you.

  There’s a workaround you can use to disable infinite scroll on themes themes without footer widgets like Ari, MistyLook, San Kloud, Sunspot. See 3. (a) (b) (c) here.
