Mixed Content (two image files)
-
I’ve deleted and replaced two image files that were on the front page of my site. They had http:// tags instead of https:// and were/are failing to load. I don’t need them, but they’re being called for anyway and I cannot figure out how to get rid of them. Asked my managed WP host for help. They recommended a plugin. No success. It’s just two .jpg files I don’t even need. Where can I go to delete them from the code? (p.s. obviously, I’m nowhere near an expert at this…)

Hi – What is the site URL? It sounds like the site might be set up on the open source WordPress.org software and not our managed hosting environment.

site is: https://www.shakeragalley.org — perhaps I’m using the terms “WP managed hosting” too commercially. The web host is Flywheel.

Hi there,
I checked your site and it appears you’re in the wrong forum. Your site is using the open source WordPress.org software and you need to seek help at these forums:
https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
These forums are for WordPress.com hosted sites only. Since we do not have access to self-hosted WordPress.org sites, we are unable to provide any direct assistance to your issue. I would reach out to your site host for help.
If you want to know more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org you can read this document:
Thanks!
