mobile layout of cubic theme

  Hi!
  I’ve just changed my wordpress site over the Cubic theme – which is looking awesome on web and tablet. However, for mobile devices it is displaying a large strip of white up the top of the screen which keeps scrolling when viewing. Is this able to be fixed in the theme settings?

  Hi there!

  It looks like the trouble is related to your site’s title — because it’s all one word, without any spaces, it’s pushing the menu button down lower and creating that large white strip.

  I’m checking with the theme’s author to see if there’s a way the theme can fix that, but another way to fix it would be to add spaces to your title. For example, instead of “inlovewithbrunch” you could write “in love with brunch” and it will fix the formatting issue on mobile. That’ll be the quickest way to fix it for now, and I’ll let you know when I hear back from the theme author to see if we can make it work with your original site title without spaces. :)

  Hey Rachel, thanks for getting back to me. The white space seems to have disappeared now.

  There’s another issue I’m having with the mobile layout though, is this something you might know about too… at the bottom of each post underneath the comments box some weird meta data is appearing. Only on mobile devices though – PC and tablet are fine. Thanks!

  I’m not sure I know what meta data you’re seeing on mobile devices, though. Do you mean this text?

  You may use these HTML tags and attributes:

  <a href="" title="" rel=""> <abbr title=""> <acronym title=""> <b> <blockquote cite=""> <cite> <del datetime=""> <em> <i>
  <pre> <q cite=""> <s> <strike> <strong>

  That’s intentional — that tells visitors what HTML tags and attributes they can use in their comment when they reply to the post. :)
