  Hello,
  i want to use one theme from the free or paid one but i want to add kind of small search engine and will change a bit in the design and also development. is it possible to do that or i need to build a website from zero?

  Hi Basel,

  You can change the design of any WordPress.com theme using custom CSS, but that requires our Premium Plan.

  WordPress.com comes with a Search feature built in, but if you want to add your own custom search feature using a plugin, that would require our Business Plan.
