Modifying titles of pages

    how do i modify the title of a page? since it is not a block it’s unclear. what if for example i wanted a picture at the top of the page? or any other block? thnx!

    Hi there,

    The page title is not a “block” that you can manipulate directly. Instead it’s position is set by the source code of your theme and cannot be modified as you would do with other blocks.

    Blocks would appear below the title and there is not a way to add them above the title instead. However, with some themes it is possible to add a “Featured Image” above the title area. Your current theme does not offer this, but here is a listing of ones that do: https://wordpress.com/themes/filter/featured-image-header
