  Dear WP team,

  I’m teaching journalism and use wordpress to publish my students’ texts.

  I have problems adding a new user ((email visible only to moderators and staff)) to my blog (as a “contributor”). I get the following error message:

  “Invitation not sent, the user has blocked invite emails.”

  Can you please unblock him?

  That is something he will have to do himself. He probably has a WordPress.com account and has set it to block emails.

  Unfortunately, he hasn’t.

  He sent me a screenshot of his wordpress account, and the option “Block Emails” (Block all email updates from blogs you’re following on WordPress.com) is not checked…
