Money was taken from bank account but no record of it in wordpress account

On Saturday 7th of July we purchased a year subscription for the premium plan at $120AUD. At the time it was showing up on our account but now when we login it says we are on a free plan and there is no evidence on our wordpress account that we ever made a purchase.
We need it updated ASAP so that our developer can migrate our site over.

Hi there,

What is the address of the site for which you bought the upgrade? The account you’re using to post here owns no upgrades, and we don’t even have payment information on file for you, so you are most likely just logged into the wrong account.

Again, we only have 1 wordpress account. I understand that wrong log in details are a common mistake, but that’s not the case here.

My bank statement reads

[redacted by staff]

Can you please investigate further as we desperately need this so we can launch our website.

This is a public forum. Please don’t post credit card information or transaction IDs here, as anyone with internet access can see it here, and the transaction ID from your bank statement can be used to gain access to your account.

That payment is for the purchase of a Premium Plan and domain mapping upgrade on the WordPress.com site, southernstaincomau.wordpress.com. The domain mapping is to connect the domain, southernstain.com.au. That site belongs to the WordPress.com account, infosouthernstaincomau.

Does this ring any bells, or are you unaware of that site and this purchase on that site? If your credit card was used to make a purchase without your knowledge we’d be happy to refund you. Please let me know.
