morphology lite

  I have been trying to complete set up of my website for so long and am so frustrated. I hope you can help. I have watched videos and read everything I see but am stuck. It has to do mainly with the landing page of morphology lite I think. It was set up (by someone else) with a few sample photos connected to my blog but I removed the sample photos to replace them with the first blog photo and now I can’t figure out how to get the blog photos linked to the landing page. My landing page now is blank except for the left column that shows the name of the blog and the footer on the right which would normally be at the bottom of the page. Someone please help – I have spent sooo much time on this and am about to give up!

  My initial response came back to me which was:

  Thank you! My site is seeitnowtravel.com.
  I did make a little progress since I requested help I think. I put the photos I wanted on the front page in gallery and they appear now on the front page but I thought that someone could click on a photo and it would take them to the appropriate blog page but evidently that is not the case. When I click on the front page menu under blog, the blog page does come up which is the main thing.

  However, now I am trying to remove the small duplicate photo on the blog page but when I click on edit, it says I am currently editing that page and I am not able to change anything. I have done a little on each page but nothing is complete because of all the problems I was having but right now if you can let me know how to remove that small top photo on the blog page, I would really appreciate it. Thank you for your time!!

  seeitnowtravel.com is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software with GoDaddy.com. We cannot help with this in the WordPress.com forums.

  That is not how image galleries on WordPress work, no. For this you’d need to use a gallery like the one added by the Coblocks plugin that allows you to link individual images in the gallery to specific posts/pages, or else add the posts themselves to the page using a theme with a grid page template, or a display posts shortcode, or something similar, which will use the posts’ featured images as the thumbnails.

  The .org forums will be able to help more with that.
