Most followers of my private blog are not getting notices when I publish new pos

    1.) One subscriber is getting notifications. Most are not. All claim to have asked for email notifications when I update my blog. I have checked my blog settings and from what I understand it seems that posting notifications are suppose to go out to those who haven’t blocked it.

    2.) Is there something I can do to determine which of my followers have asked for notification and which are receiving notifications?

    3.) the one subscriber who is getting notifications is getting a notification that includes the entire posting. I would prefer they just get the subject and then must log in to read the posting. Is there a way to set this?

    1. Your blog currently has only one email follower.

    2. You can view the list of followers via a link at the bottom-left of http://wordpress.com/#!/my-stats/

    3. Unfortunately, that cannot be changed.

    Thanks for your reply.
    1.) When I look at the stats it says I have 9 followers but NO email followers. On the other hand, there are 37 people who have accepted my invitation to view the private blog. Also, several tell me that they asked to get email when I made new posts. So what is the difference between the 9 “followers” and the 37 “viewers”? I am not sure I have these terms correct.

    2.) hen you say it cannot be changed. You mean there is no way for someone that I am permitting to view my blog to be able to subscriber to email notifications after they have subscribed?

    3.) Finally, is there any way for me to export the email addresses of every user that has viewed my log so that I can manually notify them of updates?

    1. Viewers can only view your blog. Followers can view your posts in their Reader: http://wordpress.com/#!/read/

    2. They can subscribe to email notifications by adjusting their subscription settings.

    3. No, you can only view the list. There is no way to export it.
