  This no longer seems to be functional. What happened, and how can I make http://www.motherhat.com redirect to my motherhat wordpress site?

  Hi there, is it possible that you let your grandfathered domain mapping upgrade lapse? I see that your domain is registered with namecheap.com but to use it here with a WordPressdotcom website requires domain mapping. Individual upgrades like domain mapping are no longer available and now requires at least a Personal plan upgrade.

  Hi there,

  The domain, motherhat.com, was mapped to your site, https://motherhat.wordpress.com/, from July 2013 to July 2016, but that domain has not been connected to any WordPress.com site for the past year and a half. I also don’t see any record that your account has ever purchased a site redirect upgrade – only the domain mapping which was removed in 2016 when it expired.

  If you now want to add a site redirect from your WordPress.com site to the site currently at the domain you can do it from here:

  https://wordpress.com/domains/add/site-redirect/

  You don’t need a paid plan to add a site redirect.

  However, given how long the domain has already been disconnected from the WordPress.com site it might not even be worth it to add one. It’s your choice, though.
