move a footer to the sidebar

  Hi. I have created a gallery slideshow in a Footer 2 widget on my blog page, and I now want t o move it to the sidebar without having to re-do the whole gallery in a new widget. Is this possible? Many thanks

  Yes, it’s possible, and very easily accomplished. Just move the widget with the slideshow from the footer widget area in which it presently resides to the sidebar widget area.

  Drag and drop the widget from one area to the other.

  Hi. Is it possible to change the name of your home page? ie so it says ‘Blog’ rather than ‘Home’?

  Yes, with a custom menu. Create a custom menu, and use the links module at the menus page to create a custom link to the homepage. Then change the “navigation label” as you like.
