Move from wordpress.com to .com

  Hello

  1.) Last night I purchased liverpoolanddistrictkoiclub.com from the wordpress site
  2.) I then continued on and setup liverpoolanddistrictkoiclub.wordpress.com
  3.) But now I would like to drop the .wordpress.com and just have .com

  How do I make this change? I looked at the support files and I can’t find the right instructions

  when I go to store > domains I don’t have an “Admin” option

  What am I missing?

  Can anyone help? I want my site to simply end in .com Rather than wordpress.com

  I thought that when I purchased the .com from wordpress I would be able to swap. but I dont have the option!!!

  Does anyone know how to fix this?

  We can’t help YOU until you give us the link to your blog and the custom domain you want to attach to it.

  josephmc1957 needs to also purchase the $13 domain mapping to complete the process.

  Hello Raincoaster

  I paid a total of $18

  $13 for domain mapping
  $5 for domain registration

  Do I have to pay a further $13 to move from wordpress.com to just a .com
  I thought thats what the initial £13 was for or am I mistaken? You help is appreciated.

  As I said in my first post

  When I go to Control Panel > Store > Domains
  I don’t have an “Admin” option

  Then either you are not the only user of that blog, or you’re going to need staff help. i’ll flag this for staff attention.

  The domain registration never went through, so I have added $18 in credit to your account.

  Please try again by adding the domain via Store -> Domains in your blog’s Dashboard.

  Thank you very much, it worked,

  1.) I successfully registered the domain.
  2.) Yes there was indeed an $18 credit on my account.
  3.) I have managed to make the .com the primary domain
  4.) The wordpress.com redirects to the .com

  So everthing is how I want it to be
