Move my current registration to WordPress

I would like to move my registration for my existing domain from GoDaddy to WordPress. It is expiring now and would like to change it over. How do I do this?

WordPress.COM is not set up to accept incoming domain registration transfers – if you don’t want to have the registration at Godaddy you can transfer to another registrar but not to WordPress.COM

Who else can we transfer it to? Do you have any suggestions? Is there anyone who will not spam us with advertising like Godaddy?

I and a couple of friends use Name Cheap – I get maybe one email from them every month or two – Network Solutions is another registrar
