Move subscribers and followers from xxx.wordpress.com to new wordpress site xxx.home.blog (still wordpress)
-
Hello,
I just exported my wordpress site to a new one because I wanted a different name and didn’t ask for help first. now I want to export the subscribers as well. How do I do that? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Howdy –
The followers should stay when renaming a WordPress.com site.
What’s the previous URL?
Keep in mind when using the Publicize tool, that your social media followers are pulled in to that total count. If you didn’t set that back up on the new site it could be the reason for the difference in followers.

Hello,
Thanks for replying. I did not rename the site. That was what I should have done at first. I created a new site with the new name and exported my content from the old site. -
Ok, would you please verify the URLs of the sites you’re moving them from and to? We’ll see what we can do with that.

Certainly. I am moving from bloodyhellidonthavetimetocry.wordpress.com to thebidaling.home.blog
Thank you

Ok, https://bloodyhellidonthavetimetocry.wordpress.com/ is owned by a different WordPress.com account, so in order to transfer subscribers from that, we’ll need to see the request here from the account which owns that site.

The account you’re logged into right now is not the account which owns https://bloodyhellidonthavetimetocry.wordpress.com/
The account you’re logged into right now doesn’t even have access to that site.
In order to transfer the followers from https://bloodyhellidonthavetimetocry.wordpress.com/ we will need to see the request here from the WordPress.com account that owns it.

I understand that. Now I am asking how to link the other site, to this thread. If you follow my initial question, I said that I created thebidaling.home.blog instead of just changing the name of bloodyhell.
Please how can I link it to this thread or should I just ask again but from the other site?
