Moved from Pantheon to Siteground but cannot remove Pantheon settings

    I had Siteground transfer my site from Pantheon, but there are still settings showing up indicating that the site is still at Pantheon such as updating the WordPress version. It says to go to the Pantheon dashboard to update the version even though I am no longer at Pantheon.

    In addition, I cannot add or delete plugins. I changed some settings in the .htaccess file which worked for a while, but now it has reverted. I cannot remember what setting I changed to make it work and cannot find notes on what I did.

    Neither Pantheon nor Siteground will help me and it was suggested I reach out to the WordPress community for help.

    We can’t help you neither as your site isn’t running on the WordPress.com platform but uses the open source WordPress.org. Their support is at https://wordpress.org/support/
